About — Deskrawl Wiki
Deskrawl Wiki is an independent guide site for Deskrawl: Idle ARPG — the single-player idle action RPG from First Day Games that runs in a strip along the bottom of your desktop while you work. You grind mobs, farm loot, and capture enemies (bosses included) as slaves that haul your loot cart and fight for you. The game launched on Steam (app id 4623570) on 28 September 2026.
The site exists for the players who are one-handed on a controller with the other hand still on the keyboard: what to level first, which life-skill nodes pay for themselves, when a slave is worth the Reins it costs, how a talent layer actually resolves, and what changes when you move up past Aldenreach into Mythic Rift, Paragon and Inferno. It is a wiki in the sense that we would rather record one verified answer than publish ten restated ones.
How we check what we publish
Every number on this site is traced to one of three sources, and pages say which one they used:
- The game's own data. Deskrawl ships its item, talent, ability, slave, rune and life-skill tables as data files inside the 1.0 launch build. We read those tables and the configuration behind them, so item names, talent names, socket slots, drop tables and point costs come from the developers rather than from a wiki chain.
- Steam's public data. Store listings, patch announcements and the achievement list with real unlock percentages — official numbers for how far through the game a typical player actually gets.
- The developer's own announcements. Balance changes, new systems and bug fixes, quoted in context with the version they landed in.
Because the game is young and still being patched, figures are labelled with the build they were read from — for example as of the 1.0 launch build. When a patch changes a number, the page is updated rather than quietly left to rot. Anything we cannot verify is left out instead of guessed.
What this site is not
Deskrawl Wiki is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by First Day Games or Gamersky Games, and it does not host, sell, or link to game files, keys or any way around Online Mode or the game's anti-cheat. "Deskrawl" and the names of in-game items, skills and systems belong to their respective owners and are used here for identification.
We also do not accept guest posts, and we do not run accounts, comments or leaderboards. Every page is written and checked by the site operator. If a page turns out to be wrong, out of date, or unclear, tell us and we will either fix it or take it down.
Corrections and contact
Spotted a wrong number, a page that no longer matches the current patch, or something we should cover? Email [email protected] with the page URL and the patch version you are on. Bug reports about the game itself belong to the developer — Steam community pages and the official site at deskrawl.com are the right place for those, including ban appeals.
